8. What will you need from me to design my website?

In order to design and format your Website, we need you to provide us with the following before starting. Additional things such as Power Point presentations, video files, articles, soft copy of forms for downloading are optional and can be incorporated if you have them.

  • Logo

We can always use your existing literature to work from. Usually the logos on brochures, letterhead, etc. are more than adequate. If you have your logo in electronic file format, such as .GIF or .JPG or .PNG or .PSD format it would be great. If you do not have one, we can design one for you.

  • Text or Content

If you have the text-based information you want on your site in electronic file format, we prefer it this way. Acceptable file formats are .TXT, .DOC, .RTF. Handwritten text is strongly discouraged (and there would be additional fee). If you do not have any existing content, please get it written by a content writer/copywriter, which you can use in your brochures as well.

  • Photos

Remember that the World Wide Web is a visual medium. If you have photos of your products, services, place of business or even yourself, we will include them. If you have soft copies in .GIF or .JPG or .PNG or .PSD format, that is great. Instead, if you have actual photos, we will scan and resize and optimize them for you and include them.

  • 15 Word Description & Keywords

Most Web surfers use WWW search engines and directories to find your web site. These search sites use either a description or keywords in their search. Your description should include the words or phrases that someone might use to search for your business/ products/ services. You can submit as many keywords that you can think of. Remember these are words someone might use to try and find your site (i.e., bed & breakfast, or car repairs, etc.), so think of yourself as a potential visitor to your web site. We will help you in deciding those keywords.

9. What is the difference between a “static” and “dynamic” website?

A static website is one that is written in HTML only. Each page is a separate document and there is no database that it draws on. What this means functionally is that the only way to edit the site is to go into each page and edit the HTML – so you’d either have to do it yourself using a web page editor or we can edit the site each time you wanted something changed.

A dynamic website is written using more complex code and can do a lot more. For instance, we can make an area where you can log in and change various parts of the website, such as adding information or products or changing existing products. eCommerce websites, news websites are some examples of dynamic websites. This is because each page is constructed based on the information in a database, and the information in that database can be changed via another interface.

10. What if I change my mind and want to add or change design or features of my website?

Websites are very flexible. What you start with can change and evolve as you need or want. A website is not like purchasing printed material where once it is printed you are stuck with it as it is. Your website can change any time you want. You can change anything from the text content to the overall design, or add new feature to your existing website any time you choose. Keep your visitors interested in returning by keeping the information on your website current and changing the website to include new information.

11. Once you complete website design, who owns the Website?

Once the final payment is received, you will receive 100% ownership of your Website. We will make all the files available for you for download.

eCommerce Development

1. What is involved in setting up an eCommerce website?

First, of course, you’ll need a site design and the usual functional elements of a website, such as a contact form. For standard eCommerce functionality, you will need several additional components: an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) certificate, a merchant account, a payment gateway, a back-end database for processing orders and storing customer information, and a shopping cart solution. We can help you with all of these items.

2. Is an SSL for a domain name also valid for its sub-domains?

No, unless you get a wildcard certficate, the SSL certificate is only valid for the exact domain or sub-domain that you registered it for. If you require an SSL for a sub-domain, keep in mind that the sub-domain has to be on a dedicated IP address.

3. If I have ecommerce to develop, what’s your technology would be?

eCommerce requires special coding and huge flexibility. We generally work on WooCommerce, but if you need something other than this we will be love to do that.

1. How important is it to optimize my web site for search engines?

If you want to use your website to grow your business, then it is advisable to ensure your site is properly optimized. More than 80% of all Internet users use search to find what they need online. Why hide from potential customers?

There are many components to SEO, and you can choose to implement everything at once, or implement the techniques progressively. Of course, the sooner the changes are made, the sooner you will see the results.

2. Will I have to redo my entire website to make it search engine optimized?

There are many levels of search engine optimization, and much will depend on how your site was originally built. Changing the site’s architecture is usually the most involved alteration. However, there are many other items within your site that can be modified more easily and quickly.

3. When will I start seeing results of SEO?

The timeframe varies from a few days to many weeks, depending on when your site is re-indexed.

4. What are search engine spiders?

Search engine spiders (also called “crawlers” or “bots”) are programs that browse the Internet for web pages. They index and rank each page they find, based on subject matter and a number of other factors. The spiders work on unique algorithms programmed by software engineers for the various engines.

5. What Is PageRank?

PageRank is a term used by Google that reflects their system for ranking pages on the basis of their importance and relevance to certain keywords. If PageRank likes your page and finds it useful according to its parameters you will receive a high ranking on the search result page.

6. Are keywords in domain names important?

Yes, keywords in a domain name are taken into consideration by the search engines. We don’t know exactly how much of a factor this is in determining search rank, but we know that keywords in a domain name are not weighed nearly as heavily as the keywords in your title tags and page content.

App Development

1. What is the difference between Native App and Web Based App?

Native apps are built for specific platforms. They are built using platforms’ native SDK and development platforms and are able to use some of specific features of device – e.g. Camera, Volume controller, speaker etc. The web based apps (also web-apps) run within the mobile browser and are virtually webpages that imitate the look of a native mobile UI.

2. Do you also upload the application to app store?

Yes, we do at free of cost! Nevertheless, you’ll have to pay the minimum amount of charge (fees) by the main company.

3. Does your company guarantee that Google won’t reject the app?

Most of the apps we develop don’t get rejected. There are no special criteria for this but just making a neat and clean app works. Our apps are foolproof and bug-free as they pass from various robust testing.

4. Can we update the content of application after it’s built?

You may! However, this may be chargeable.
